LOWE, Anne
Anne Lowe took art as a main subject at college. Between periods of teaching, she spent time at Brighton Art School non-vocational classes with artist Norma Weller (1932-2007). Having lived in Norfolk before settling in Sudbury where the landscapes have inspired Anne’s work. Since around 2009 Anne has developed her work on her own or with groups and has worked with David Pairpoint and attended workshops and courses with various other artists. Anne uses local landscapes as a starting point for her paintings, which are stylised with lots of colour and include abstract with acrylics and mixed media. Anne has exhibited at the Mill Tye Gallery in Great Cornard, Suffolk and is a member of Suffolk Open Studios from 2 Salters Hall, Stour Street, Sudbury, Suffolk.
