Ashley Peck

Ashley Paul Peck was born at Ipswich in 1987, second son of Allan S. Peck and his wife Judith A. Borley, who married at Gipping, Suffolk in 1982. His grandfather was a cabinet maker who, during World War Two, had worked on the De Havilland 'Mosquito' fighter bomber and wanting to know more about the aircraft, initially sparked Ashley's interest in aviation which he has now been studying for most of his life. It was not until a visit to the Royal International Air Tattoo in 2016 that Ashley resumed his interest in art. A mostly self-taught artist, learning increasingly with every picture that he painted, using both crayons and acrylic paint, his works include not only aircraft, but F.1 racing cars, classic railway engines etc., down to landscapes. He has his studio at 11 Farriers Went, Felixstowe, Suffolk and, teamed up with the Low Flying Aircraft Facebook group, on a project with the F35 as the subject, with a 25 limited edition. He also does commission work and exhibits at Art on the Prom at Felixstowe, Suffolk.
