Alaco Doyle

As Alacoque M. Doyle, she was born at Bromley, Kent in 1965, daughter of Matthew J. Doyle and his wife Margaret M. née O'Shea, who married at Bromley in 1956. Alaco studied at St Mary’s University, Twickenham 1985-1988 for a B.A. (hons) in French and English and at University College Dublin 2011-2014. Alaco is an artist who has divided her time between France, Ireland, the UK, and the West Coast of the United States and Alacoque Doyle joined Fine Art America in August 2012. Predominantly working in acrylics, her versatile approach allows her to switch skillfully between realist and impressionist styles and her repertoire covers still-life, landscapes, and portraits. She married in London in 2000 Patrick E Van Der Meij. She is now based in Felixstowe, Suffolk where she has exhibited locally at Art on the Prom; Art at the Ferry; Art Market, Felixstowe; Snape Maltings Galleries but her work has been exhibited in galleries in the UK and Ireland, and is held in private collections in the UK, Ireland, USA, Singapore, and South Africa.
