LAIT, Jim

James W. M. Lait, studied at Worthing College of Art and Design and has been painting for over 30 years. Jim, as he is known, specialises in marine subjects but also paints atmospheric landscapes and skyscapes primarily working in watercolour, enjoying the sense of light which that medium can bring to a scene. Jim is a member and former committee member of the Felixstowe Art Group and exhibits at Art on the Prom from his studio at 107 Melford Way, Felixstowe, Suffolk. He married at Gipping district in Suffolk in 1983 Gillian Lait née Sparkes and they live at Felixstowe.
