PALFREY, Angela

1965 - ?

As Angela Staley, she was born at Ipswich in 1965. Angela was educated at King Edward VI Upper School, Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk and studied for four years at college, being awarded with a Higher National Diploma, after which she was employed as a graphic designer for some twenty years. Angela married at Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk in 1998, Gavin Anthony Palfrey and paints under the name of Angela Palfrey. On her marriage she gave up her career to raise her family of two children and when her children reached an age, she had time to regain her painting skills. Angela enjoys exploring all subjects in different mediums, deciding that painting and drawing animals were the most satisfying subject matter. She has her studio and home in Ipswich and had a solo exhibition at the Waveney Gallery, near Diss, Norfolk and has exhibited elsewhere including 'Art on the Prom' at Felixstowe, Suffolk.
