MUDDEMAN, Frederick Edward
Frederick Edward Muddeman was born at Warwick on 9 February 1907 and baptised at St Mary's Church, Warwick on 7 April 1907, son of Edward Muddeman (28 November 1863-1950), a publican, and his wife Alice Mary née Oldham (25 May 1877-14 August 1954), who married at Ashted, Warwick on 4 October 1898 and in 1939 were living at 16 West Rock, Warwick. Frederick married firstly at Warwick in 1936, Hannah Lorna Madeleine Browne (1906-1938), when he was a prison officer at Chelmsford gaol. He married secondly at Bingham, Nottinghamshire on 30 December 1944, Dorothy Grace Colby (6 October 1902-1980), a state registered nurse at Wormwood Scrubs Prison. Frederick exhibited at the Lowestoft Art Group exhibition at St John's Hall, Lowestoft in 1960 'Kessingland Country'. Frederick Edward Muddeman was of 558 London Road South, Lowestoft, Suffolk when he died at Great Yarmouth Hospital on 11 April 1981.
