Kelly Michelle Will was born in Ipswich in 1990, daughter of Martin Campbell Will and his wife Sheree Michelle née Quinn, who married in Suffolk in 1989. Kelly studied for her Master's degree in Arts Practice at the University of Suffolk in Ipswich. Kelly Will is fascinated by the town’s historic pub culture and has created images of bygone Ipswich public houses like the 'Sun Inn', the 'Alexandra Beer House', and 'The Eclipse'. In July 2024, Kelly Will took over the running of the Frame Workshop & Gallery, Ipswich from Robin Peters and it is now known as the Greenhouse Gallery.
