As Adele Frances Evelyne Pearson, she was born at Ombersley, Droitwich, Worcestershire on 15 June 1892, daughter of Thomas Henry Gibbons Pearson (11 December 1853-3 April 1942) and his second wife Amy Mary Constance Biggs, eldest daughter of Revd George Hesketh Biggs, who married at Ettington Church, Stratford on Avon, Warwickshire on 20 December 1884, Thomas married his first wife Hannah Bowler in 1867. In 1901, Adele was an 8-year-old, living at 31 Shakespeare Road, Bedford with her parents, 47-year-old Thomas, 'living on own means'. and 45-year-old Amy and three siblings, John Hesketh 15, Edward Hesketh Gibbons 14 and Elsie Constance 11. In 1911, Adele was a singing pupil of Caroline Jelley at St James Lodge, St James Square, Notting Hill, Kensington, London, and she married at Leeds in 1916, Harry Williams Hamlett (5 May 1892-24 December 1973). In 1939, widowed (sic), living at 58 Kimbolton Road, Bedford the home of the Deacon family. A member and exhibitor at the Beccles Society of Artists. Adele Frances Evelyne Hamlett died at The Old Parsonage, Raynes Lane, Kirby Cane, Norfolk on 10 July 1990.
