HARE, Jennifer Wendy

Jennifer Wendy Hare was born in Ipswich in 1984, daughter of Andrew F. Hare and his wife Barbara Mary née Parker, who married at Ipswich in 1974. After working in the catering and hospitality industry for several years, Wendy decided to develop her love of painting, enrolling on a Fine Art B.A. at University Campus Suffolk in Ipswich. Jennifer has now been painting for several years, working with a variety of different mediums but in recent years has worked with oil-based paints. As well as discovering her abilities and skills she developed her passion for portraiture when first working with oils, discovering the nuances of texture and colour which she demonstrates within her work. She primarily produces portrait paintings but often extends to other figurative and occasional bespoke works. Jennifer has worked on achieving this by capturing images from films and television and reproducing them in her own style to demonstrate the timeless emotion of image within a context. She exhibited at Prettys Art at Ipswich in 2015.
