WEIGHT, David
David John Weight was born at Barnet, Middlesex in 1936, son of Frederick Weight and his wife Winifred Louise née Leech (2 October 1909-21 August 1984), who married at Brighton, Sussex in 1934. In 1939, David was living with his mother, who was a shorthand typist, and with his maternal grandparents at 8 Harrington Road, Brighton with a younger sibling, Michael (born 12 July 1939). David married at Merton, Surrey in 1972, Victoria M. Last. A member, treasurer, and exhibitor at the Southwold Art Circle from 4 Long Marsh Close, Southwold, Suffolk. A member of the Waveney Watercolourists also a member of the choir of the Southwold Church of St Edmund, King and Martyr and also ran the church guided tours in the summer. David John Weight died at Southwold on 12 June 2022.
