REDMAN, Anthony [Tony] James

Born in Surrey N.W. district on 1 May 1951, son of Alan Redman and his wife Diana D. née Cooke, who married at Surrey N.W. in 1950. Educated at Surbiton Grammar School and Anglia Ruskin University proceeding to the University of Reading. He married at York in 1974, Caroline B. Ford. An architect and a member of The Whitworth Co-Partnership LLP. and in 1992 accredited as competent in the repair and conservation of Historic buildings by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and in 1998 elected Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors at the same time elected a full member of Institute of Historic Building Conservation. A past vice-chairman at Council for the Care of Churches and a former chair of the conservation group at RICS. In 2005 he obtained an M.A. in Pastoral Theology (APU, Cambridge). A member and exhibitor at the Bury St Edmund's Art Society from The Cottage, Great Livermere, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
