WILLIAMS, Janice
As Janice Taylor, she was born at Stretford, Manchester in 1964. Janice spent time travelling in the American South and, although self-taught, was drawing portraits in pastels to earn a living and on returning to England worked as a graphic designer. Janice went on to take a B.A. degree in Art, specialising in painting and illustration. Janice moved to Suffolk in the early 1980s and married at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk in 1990, Paul R. Williams, and now paints under the name of Janice Williams. Living at Angel Road, Ipswich, where their two sons were born in 1991 and 1993. Janice works in acrylics also polychrome pencils but uses most media, painting people, animals, and flowers from her studio in the garden of her home in Ipswich. Her work has been sold in the UK but also in Australia and America and she has exhibited at Studio 3 at Ipswich Town Hall Gallery and exhibits at Art on the Prom at Felixstowe, Suffolk.
