OLDHAM, Arthur Frederic

1942 - 2022

Arthur Frederic Oldham was born at Hyde, Cheshire in October 1942, son of Harry Oldham and his wife Amelia I. née Cook, who married at Wandsworth, London in 1941. Arthur married at Haringey, London in 1970, Jane B. Hewitt. A solicitor by training, a former senior partner of Ipswich firm of Graham & Oldham which merged to became Ashton Graham in 1998 and he set up the Graham & Oldham Gallery in Ipswich which ran a successful exhibition programme for several years. Oldham later became a mature art student at Suffolk College under the guidance of Ken Back. He lived at Pine Trees, The Old Street, Capel St Mary, Ipswich, Suffolk. Arthur Frederic Oldham died on 8 January 2022.
