RITCHIE, Pamela Hope
As Pamela Hope Pattisson, she was born at Stevemage, Hertfordshire on 7 May 1914, daughter of Walker Merriman Pattisson (1876-7 February 1928), a member of the London Stock Exchange, who was born in New Zealand, and his wife Fanny née Moore (27 February 1876-28 June 1940), who married at Paddington, London in 1908 and in 1921 were living in a hotel at Stoneleigh, Granville Road, St Peter, Kent together with their 7-year-old daughter Pamela and their niece. In 1939 Fanny was a widow, living at The Mount, Bridge Street, Long Melford, Suffolk where she died in 1940. Pamela married at Bombay, India in 1938, author and army officer Edward Neish Ritchie (26 June 1914-28 April 2002). A member and exhibitor at the Beccles Society of Artists 1977-1981. Pamela Hope Ritchie died at 4 Crowfoot Gardens, Beccles, Suffolk on 24 December 1981.
