PIDCOCK, Fred
Fred Pidcock was born at Warrington, Lancashire on 28 February 1913, eldest child of Joseph Pidcock (13 May 1879-9 March 1950), a blacksmith, and his wife Mary née Dootson (14 July 1888-21 February 1966), who married at Warrington in 1911 and in 1921 were living at 85 Fife Street, Sheffield with their three children, Fred, Edith born in 1917 and Lena born in 1918. Fred married at Sheffield in 1937, Edith Margaret Tranter (11 April 1915-31 July 2001) and in 1939, a foreman die sinker, living at 4 Alport Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire with his wife. A member and exhibitor at the Beccles Society of Artists 1977-1990 from 4 South Close, Beccles, Suffolk. Fred Pidcock was buried in Beccles Cemetery on 23 February 1996, aged 82 and his 86-year-old wife was buried beside him.
