MATTIN, Thurza
As Thurza Hewitt, she was born at Harrow-on-the-Hill on 7 October 1906, daughter of Edwin Hewitt (5 December 1878-27 December 1947), a furniture upholsterer, and his wife Ellen née Shuffell (29 October 1874-29 August 1951), who married at Enfield, London in 1901 and in 1911 were living at 20 Grange Road, Roxeth, Harrow-on-the-Hill. In 1939 they were living at 75 Eastcote Lane, Harrow when Thurzo was an elementary school teacher. She married at Harrow in 1959, Hubert William Mattin (23 January 1898-25 April 1976). As Thurza Mattin, a member and exhibitor at the Beccles Society Of Artists 1977-1984. Thurza Mattin died at 7 Sheridan Walk, Worlingham, Beccles, Suffolk on 8 October 1984.
