COPELAND, Rosie

As Rosemary D. Winton, she married at St Albans, Hertfordshire in 1978, Mark Copeland and paints under the name of Rosie Copeland. Rosemary studied at Canterbury College of Art 1977, gaining a B.A. Graphic Design. A qualified teacher and practising artist and have taught general art & design, watercolour painting and life drawing at West Suffolk College, Addenbrookes Hospital, in schools and in private classes & workshops, holding workshops at the Watershed Studio, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex also arranges painting holidays in France. Rosie uses vibrant watercolour, together with mixed media and collage and has also worked in oil, being inspired by gardens and allotments. Rosie is a Member of the Bury St Edmund's Art Society and an occasional participant in Suffolk Open Studios from her studio at 59 Southgate Street, Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk. She has exhibited in East Anglia; Staffordshire; Vancouver, Canada and at the Business Design Centre, London with a solo show at Wildwood Gallery, Bury St Edmund's in 2002. Rosie has made greeting card designs for Phoenix Trading; DDFA; Kevin Mayhew Ltd and Benevolus.
