BERRY, Lisa

Lisa Jane Berry was born in the Deben district of Suffolk in February 1964, daughter of Derek Berry and his wife Joan P. née Davis, who married at Deben in 1961. An abstract, semi abstract, colourist painter who has moved from ceramics into painting. Lisa is currently working with acrylic paint on deep edge canvas ranging in size from 30cm to 100cm square, abstract, and semi-abstract images and shows great authority with the colours, both strident and muted are all beautifully blended. Lisa was a co-founder and exhibitor at Gallery 142 in Hamilton Road, the main town street of Felixstowe, Suffolk and is a full member of Suffolk Open Studios from her studio at 13 Brick Kiln Cottages, Chillesford, Woodbridge, Suffolk.
