PEWSEY, Rob
Robert J. Pewsey was born in 1963, son of James Henry Pewsey (10 September 1932-14 August 1974). Rob is a semi-professional artist who combined his passion for sculpture with his admiration of Kylie Minogue and created a life-sized statue, which he worked on in his spare time for over a year. He entered one of his paintings in the competition for a mural for Sudbury Health Centre in 2014 which depicted a view along the Belchamp Brook Valley towards Sudbury. Rob, as he is known, married at Halstead, Essex in 1988,Julia Pewsey née Abrahams and he and his wife have their studio at Glemsford, Sudbury, Suffolk. Rob, who is a member of The Guild of Erotic Artists, has been creating cold cast (bronze/resin) sculptures on a semi professional basis for over 20 years and as Rob Pewsey has exhibited from 1 Causeway Close, Glemsford, Sudbury, Suffolk at the 'Visions of Sudbury' show in 2013, an oil 'Storm over the Rookery'.
