Raymond J. Adams was born in Lothingland, Suffolk in 1950, son of Ernest C. Adams and his wife Audrey P. née Wren, who married at Lothingland in 1949. Raymond married at Lothingland in 1973, Jennifer J. Perring. A painter in oil of local scenes and a member and exhibitor at the Lowestoft Art Group with his studio at Beaconsfield Road, Lowestoft.
