Raymond J. Adams was born in Lothingland, Suffolk in 1950, son of Ernest Charles Adams (1928-1 October 2020) and his wife Audrey P. née Wren (20 August 1931-), who married at Lothingland in 1949. Raymond married at Lothingland in 1973, Jennifer J. Perring. A painter in oil of local scenes and a member and exhibitor at the Lowestoft Art Group with his studio at Beaconsfield Road, Lowestoft.
