FORSTER, Robert Allen
Robert Allen Forster is a self-taught painter. He married at Ipswich in 1976, Anita Clare Erhardt (13 March 1951-27 October 1993) and secondly in 1997, Rachel Olive Widdowson [nee Daniels] (1949-21 August 2011). Robert has been drawing and painting for forty years and a teaches drawing and watercolour painting at the Ipswich Institute and has part-illustrated the Ipswich Bible. Specialising in watercolour and architectural drawing, timber frame buildings etc., mostly churches medieval or otherwise. A member of the Ipswich Art Society, exhibiting from 13 Hatfield Road, Ipswich in 1997, two items 'Bethesda Baptist Church' and 'Orwell Place, Ipswich' also a member of the Suffolk Art Society and the Orwell Art Club and has exhibited throughout Suffolk from 32 Clarkson Street, Ipswich.
