OXBORROW, Edmund
Edmund G. Oxborrow was born at Louth, Lincolnshire in 1950, eldest of the three sons of Geoffrey Harold Oxborrow (17 February 1922-17 September 1991) and his wife Jean Lillian Rose née Forsdike (31 January 1923-3 February 1994), who married at Ipswich in 1946. Edmund married at Newmarket, Suffolk in 1975, Valerie A. Grundon (born 1955). Edmund paints in oil and watercolour, drawings and relief print also carving driftwood collected from local beaches and made into pictures with small birds cut from wood to add life and contrast. He exhibited at the Ipswich Art Club from 54 Bridge Street, Stowmarket, Suffolk in 1990 'Summertime at Tostock'. He has also exhibited at the former Reunion Gallery, Gainsborough Road, Felixstowe and the Pin Mill Studio, near Ipswich and elsewhere.
