Mark Hudson

Mark Hudson was born at Derby in 1961. Educated at Trinity College, Oxford 1980-1984 taking his M.A. in History & Modern Languages, at Camberwell School of Arts & Crafts 1986-1989 taking a B.A. in Graphic Design and at St Martin's School of Art, London 1989-1991 taking a Postgraduate Diploma in Illustration. In 1985, a freelance commercial artist and in 1997 a co-founder of Group Design studios in London and at the same time a lecturer at Camberwell also at London College of Communication where a course leader, and at Buckinghamshire New University and was graphic design lecturer at Barking College, Essex 1995-2007. Mark has worked with printmaking, photocopiers, ink-drawing, carbon paper and acrylic paint before finally entering the digital era in 2000. His images are now drawn and composed by hand before being drawn up in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop and delivered via broadband. Originally from East Anglia, since 1991 a graphic artist and illustrator at The Brunswick Centre, London, also from 2017 course leader, Graphic Design at the University of The Creative Arts, Epsom. A member of the Ipswich Art Club and exhibited from 20a Cloudsley Square, London N.1. in 1990, three pictures 'Alphabet City', 'Seaspring in the Wet Dock' and 'Martina in Ipswich Shipyard'.
