DOUGLAS, Jean Mary

1927 - 2018

Jean Mary Douglas was born in London on 26 September 1927. Educated at Loughton County High School and Teacher Training College, Portsmouth. She married Frank Douglas and paints under the initials of J. M. D. Jean studied at City and Guilds of London Art School 1976-1979 gaining her Art Diploma. A member of the Ipswich Art Club and exhibited from Snail Hall, Millwood Road, Polstead, Suffolk in 1985, two paintings 'Rose-Golden Wings' and 'The Evening Star'. She latterly lived at Park House, Liston, Sudbury, Suffolk - Liston is in Essex.
