HARDING, Mary

1930 - 2013

As Mary Patricia Waconia, she was born at Rochford, Essex in 1930, daughter of Cecil Charles Edward Waconia (26 July 1901-1 October 1960), a valuer, and his wife Gladys E. née Greenstreet (29 October 1904-18 May 1967), who married at Rochford in 1929 and in 1939 were living at 29 Northview Drive, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex. Mary married at Southend, Essex in 1950, Graham John Harding and their daughter is Anne Townshend. As Mary Harding, a member of the Ipswich Art Club and exhibited from 'Ridgeway', 80 Belstead Road, Ipswich in 1980 two pictures, 'Oil Rig' and 'Kitten', in 1985 a further two pictures 'Poppy' and 'Cat' and in 1990 from the same address, three pictures 'Fourteen Boats', 'Giraffe' and 'Aldeburgh'. Merry Patricia Harding was still living at Belstead Road, Ipswich in 2005 and she died at Ipswich on 8 April 2013.
