BASSETT, Sally Ann
As Sally Ann Clifton, she was born at Congleton, Cheshire in 1974, daughter of Peter L. Clifton and his wife Linda Clifton née Knights, who married in the Blyth district of Suffolk in 1968. Sally Ann was educated at Bungay High School 1987-1992, the University of East London 1993-1996, gaining her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art Painting and Printmaking, and at Homerton College, Cambridge 1996-1997. A full-time teacher of Art and Design at Fortismere School, North London 1997-2004, being Teacher of The Year 'Young @ Art' in 2002, then teacher of art at Kesgrave High School, near Ipswich, and from 2007, teacher of Art and Design at Saint Felix School, Southwold, Suffolk. Sally married in the Waveney district of Suffolk in 2004, Richard Robert Bassett, an architect. Her skills include Visual Arts, Photography and Art Education. In 2012 she was resident at Westhall, Suffolk when she contributed to the Westhall Secret Postcard Auction, 'Ebony Elephants' and her husband Richard contributed 'Newmills, Norwich' and in 2013 a watercolour 'The Green Lane'.
