SIMON, Robert Scott
Robert Scott Simon was born at Birmingham on 2 September 1926, eldest son of Herbert Simon (10 May 1898-13 November 1974) and his wife Mary (Molly) Agnes Scott (25 March 1901-9 October 1971), youngest daughter of Dr Dukingfield Scott of Oakley, Hampshire, who married at Basingstoke, Hampshire in 1925 and in 1939, Herbert Simon was a married master printer, living at 33 Jubilee Place, Chelsea, London when Mary Agnes was living at Bacons, Takeley, Dunmow, Essex with their children. Robert married at Ipswich in 1951, Annabel Maureen Dennis (24 August 1930-2 November 2016). An artist and sculptor who exhibited at Parr Gallery, Chelsea in 1975. Robert Scott Simon died at his home at 80 Thoroughfare, Woodbridge, Suffolk on 27 November 2012 and his funeral was held at Greenwood Burial Ground, Farnham, near Woodbridge.
