D'ALBERTO, Pamela
Pamela Susan Johnson married at Maidenhead in 1972 Oliviero D'Alberto and paints as Susan D'Alberto. Susan studied at Middlesex University and was a professional milliner, but rediscovering painting and is an abstract artist who first worked in watercolour and oils but now only works in acrylics and other mixed media such as pastels, charcoal etc. to achieve vibrant colours, tones, and hues. Working on several pieces at a time can inspire another painting which is struggling to become itself. Pamela exhibits with Art in East Anglia and elsewhere and her painting 'Colour of my Brain' was shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. She works from her studio at Whepstead, Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk.
