TYLEY, Sally
As Sally Anne Mason, she married at Chelsea, London in 1965, Anthony R. Tyley and paints under the name of Sally Tyley. Sally studied on a Foundation Course at Hornsey College of Art, Fine Art at North East London Polytechnic and at St Martin's School of Art. Sally works in charcoal, pencil, pen, watercolour and acrylic and in her colour work she builds up layers of washes using acrylic to achieve an intensity of colour with her recent work made up of small canvases together as you would tiles and based on the Roman box pattern. Her life drawing is in charcoal with some water colour. A member of the Eye Arts Guild from The Old Chapel, Earlsford Road, Mellis, Suffolk and is also a member of Mellis Arts.
