WRINCH, Helen Mabel
Helen Mabel Wrinch was born at Nether Hall, Harkstead, Ipswich, Suffolk in 1868 and baptised at St Mary's Church, Harkstead on 2 September 1868, daughter of Robert Henry Wrinch (December 1823-21 November 1902), a farmer, and his wife Maria Seago (1835-23 September 1888), second surviving daughter of Thomas Seago of West Poringland, who married at Howe Church, Poringland, Norfolk on 25 October 1865. Helen's mother died at Harkstead in 1888, aged 54, when Helen acted as her father's housekeeper at Nether Hall. A landscape artist who exhibited at the Ipswich Fine Art Club in 1891, an oil 'By Quiet Waters'. In 1911, she was living at Ivy Cottage, Tottenhall, Kings Lynn, Norfok and married at Tottenhall later that year, Revd William Pattinson, the local curate and son of Jacob Pattinson of East End, Wigton. Helen Mabel Pattinson died at Kerdiston Old Hall, Reepham, Norfolk on 19 October 1931, aged 62.
