WRINCH, Helen Mabel

1868 - 1931

Helen Mabel Wrinch, was born at Nether Hall, Harkstead, Suffolk in 1868 and baptised at St Mary's Church, Harkstead on 2 September 1868, daughter of Robert Henry Wrinch, a farmer, and his wife Maria, née Seago, who married at Loddon, Norfolk in 1865. Her mother died at Harkstead in 1888, aged 54, when Helen acted as her father's housekeeper at Nether Hall. A landscape artist and exhibited at the Ipswich Art Club in 1891, an oil 'By Quiet Waters'. In 1911, she was living at Ivy Cottage, Tottenhall, Kings Lynn, Norfok and married later that year, Revd William Pattinson. Mabel died at Kerdiston Old Hall, Reepham, Norfolk on 19 October 1931, aged 62.
