ROSS, Thomas
Thomas Ross, a provincial portrait, landscape and decorative artist of figures and animal subjects. He may have been at Gloucester before 1730 at which time he was working in Suffolk. Most of his known works are busts in a feigned oval and are represented at the National Portrait Gallery.
