CROYSDILL, Kim
Kim Croysdill is a ceramicist who works mainly with stoneware using simple but elegant forms, taking inspiration from the natural world and designs and make unique pieces of pottery. Mixing her own glazes and experimenting with Raku with no two pieces of pottery are ever exactly the same, down to the organic nature of clay and human touch. Her ceramics are created with minimal decoration to allow the form to reveal itself. Raku is also used to capture the natural beauty of her work. Kim has her studio at The Coach House, All Saints South Elmham, Suffolk and is a member of Suffolk Open Studios and has exhibited at Broad Street Gallery, Bungay; Fisher Theatre Gallery; Fisherman's Hut Gallery, Dunwich; Holton Lodge Barn; Woodbridge Creative Market; Old Grocery Art Space, Wivenhoe; Broad Street Gallery and elsewhere.
