WESTHALL SECRET POSTCARD AUCTION
Westhall Secret Postcard Auction is a charity art event organized by the Westhall Parochial Church Council in Suffolk. The event was created by local village organiser Karen Kluiters, who adapted the concept from a similar successful initiative run by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). The auction raises funds split evenly between St Andrew's Church in Westhall and East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH).The Concept: Professional artists, local villagers, and prominent celebrities are invited to submit anonymous, postcard-sized original artwork. All pieces are signed strictly on the reverse side, bidders bid on their favorite designs without knowing the creator's identity, which is only revealed after the auction closes.
