Marta Stolarska was born in Poland in 1988 and grew up in rural and coastal Poland. In 2007 Marta came to live and work in Norwich in Norfolk later in Birmingham but now lives and works in Oulton Broad on Suffolk's East Coast of England. After working on making crochets, knitwear, and jewellery, in 2021 Marta returned to painting and completed an intensive Art Mastery programme with the Milan Art Institute 2022-2023 with her ongoing art education following an atelier model, learning directly from practising, award-winning artists and masters of their craft. Marta also crafts handmade polymer clay sculptures and intricate hand-built dioramas, which she uses as the foundation for her still life compositions. She has exhibited with the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists; Birmingham Open, the RBSA Exhibition and with the Purple Gallery at 229 Mary Vale Road, Bournville, Birmingham, as well as in local exhibitions across East Anglia also works on commissions. Her paintings are held in private collections in the United Kingdom, Poland, and the United States. Marta Stolarska is also the founder of the Coastal Mail Club, a monthly original art print subscription sent from her Suffolk studio.
