Margaret Epsley-Jones

Margaret Espley-Jones was born in South Africa on 27 February 1954, daughter of Derrick Espley-Jones (28 September 1921-), a mining engineer, and his wife Joyce (24 November 1927-). Margaret trained in multi- disciplinary design and has been a practicing artist and teacher of art for several years and through teaching art has worked with all types of students in many countries. Her career began in the UK and is now settled in Suffolk, painting mainly in watercolours but also with pastels, oils' ceramics and silk. Margaret teaches pastels, watercolour and animal portraiture at a local college and at her studio, and also run workshops in Saxmundham, Suffolk. She exhibited at the 13th Ipswich Sea Scouts Exhibitions in 2024 two watercolours 'After the Storm' and 'Pink Geraniums' and two pastels 'Evening Snow' and 'Last of the Summer Grapes'.
