LOCKWOOD, George
George Lockwood was born at Ipswich in September 1935, son of Thomas Lockwood (10 March 1900-), a shoemaker, and his wife Kate Alizda née Duff (8 January 1904-1988), who married at Ipswich in 1923 and in 1939 were living at 362 Nacton Road, Ipswich. George Lockwood's paintings focus on realism through his eyes, demonstrating a variety of subjects including animals, still lifes, architecture from around the world on his travels, flowers and more. He has exhibited at Craft House Woodbridge; 13th Ipswich Sea Scouts Exhibitions and elsewhere.
