RUTTER, Alan

Alan E. Rutter is a Blythburgh, Suffolk based printmaker who studied graphic design at Hornsey College of Art and practised as a graphic designer in London for over twenty years. He eventually trained as a teacher and taught graphics until retirement. He married at Cambridge in 1979 Virginia J Castell. From his studio at Church Road, Blythburgh and using his design experience and love of the local countryside he produces linocut prints from around Blythburgh. He has exhibited with Artspace Woodbridge; Holton Lodge Barn and elsewhere.
