PAGE, Kieran
Kieran Matthew Page is a Suffolk-based illustrator. A graphic designer by day, Kieran's creativity continues into the evening where he channels his thoughts and feelings into works of inventive art. Kieran Page started his endangered species focus in early 2019 beginning with his ‘Pygmy Elmer’, designed and painted as a nod to endangered species around the world and is best known for his various murals around Ipswich and has painted everything from pub and cafe walls and the Elmer Elephant sculpture completed for St Elizabeth Hospice to raise money as part of the Ipswich St Elizabeth Hospice Trail. This led to Kieran’s next project, illustrating five portraits of threatened animals from Borneo and Sumatra, collaborating with London-based artist ‘Slow King’ who produced poems and songs to go alongside the individual pieces. Now, Kieran is back with twenty-two portraits of species from across the world which are threatened or endangered, which are featured on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) red list. He exhibits with Mill Tye Gallery.
