PROCNER, Emily
Emily Procner has been interested in art from her young days. Emily studied at Barnfield College, Luton, Bedfordshire 1991-1994 for a Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) qualification, Fine Art at Birmingham 2004-2008 for her honours degree and qualified as a teacher which enabled her to teach Art and Design at High School level for some twelve years. Emily is a practicing artist working with a range of mixed media and subject matter and in printmaking. She has volunteered at a community arts centre in Suffolk, working with a range of ages facilitating creative workshops, curating exhibitions and community arts projects. She spent ten years working in New Zealand and was an artist in residence for several years and has exhibited in solo and mixed shows at various locations throughout the UK, Spain and New Zealand. A practising artist working on portraits, still life, nature and buildings and works on commission. A member and exhibitor with Eye Arts Guild in Suffolk.
