WARD, Anne M
Anne M. Ward is a Newmarket-based artist, who specialises in portraits of horses and dogs, largely in the medium of pastel. A member of the Society of Equestrian Artists and is an established, commissioned artist, who specialises in portraits of horses and dogs and has worked for Sir Evelyn de Rothschild (29 August 1931-7 November 2022), Sarah Hobbs, wife of top jumps trainer Philip Hobbs and leading Newmarket trainers Sir Mark Prescott, Bt. (3 March 1948-), David Simcock (February 1972-) and Marco Botti (23 December 1976-), also champion jockey Ryan Moore (18 September 1983-), as well as members of the Cambridge and Newmarket Polo Club from her studio at Newmarket, Suffolk.
