TURNER, William Henry Matthew

William Henry Matthew Turner was born on 20 June 1931 and baptised at St Luke, Finsbury, London on 13 July 1831, son of John Turner, a barrister, and his wife Frances née Cpllours?. W. H. M. Turner exhibited at the Society of British Artists from 5 Raby Place, Bath, Somerset in 1860 'An Irish Drove' and he is recorded at Raby Place in the electoral roll of 1861. He exhibited at the Ipswich Fine Art and Industrial Exhibition in 1868 and was a member of the Ipswich Fine Art Club in 1884 and exhibited from Stanley House, Melton, Woodbridge, Suffolk, five works 'Spaniels and Game', 'Dead Game', 'Brace of Partridges', 'Screws and Screw Drivers' and 'The Grey Horse'. He married at Bideford, Devon in 1889, Annie Kemp. William Henry Matthew Turner died at Bideford, Devon on 13 November 1927.
