Katherine Cheesman was born in Chelmsford, Essex and is a self-taught artist, now based in Suffolk. Katherine works with oils, but experiments with pen and ink, pastel and watercolour. Katherine has been living in West Row, Suffolk since 2108 and is inspired by the peace and solitude found within nature and the great outdoors with the result that coastal compositions and water are often themes of her work. Although her art is primarily influenced by the land and sea, she also enjoys the discipline of portraiture and representing human and animal forms in varying environments. Katherine exhibits with the East Suffolk Plein Air Painters. Katherine Cheesman is also a Psychic Medium and Healer and carries out Readings, Spirit Readings, Healing, Reiki Teaching and Dream Interpretation.
