Bristol School of Art at Queens Road is situated in the right-hand wing of the Royal West of England Academy. The building, completed in 1858, offers an impressive façade to the Victoria Rooms on Queens Road, Clifton. Also known as Bristol Municipal School of Arts it has existed here continuously, offering art education in a range of disciplines. Bristol School of Art, Queens Road offers part-time, community, foundation and degree art courses. Tutors at Bristol included George Edmund Butler and Suffolk artists who studied at Bristol include Stanley Anderson, Arthur Lucius Falkland Cary,Malcolm Osborne and Allen Culpepper Sealy.
