Marlborough Fine Art Gallery was established in 1946 at 6 Albermarle Street, London, WI by Heinrich Robert Fischer (1903-1977) who had worked at St George's Gallery. The gallery deals in 19th and 20th Century paintings, specialising in Old Masters and Impressionists work. It also carries work by contemporary artists, mounting between six to eight exhibitions of their work each year. The gallery is the agent for some of the most celebrated world-renowned artists such as Frank Helmuth Auerbach (1931-), Francis Bacon (1909-1992), Ronald Brooks Kitaj (1932-2007), Victor Pasmore (1908-1998) and Paula Figueiroa Rego (1935-2022). There are sister galleries in New York, Madrid, Santiago, Chile, and Monte Carlo. Suffolk artists who exhibited at the London Marlborough Gallery include David Cox, Maggi Hambling, Chris Newson and Sarah Natasha Raphael.

There was an earlier Marlborough Gallery which was founded in 1888 by Martin Henry Colnaghi (1821-1908) of the art dealing Colnaghi family, on the premises of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours at 53 Pall Mall. This gallery closed in 1908 shortly after the death of the founder.
