The Lloyd’s Art Group was founded in 1963 and is a collective of professional and talented amateur artists who work in the London Insurance market or who have an immediate connection to it. It has held an autumn exhibition and sale of art in the Lloyd’s building each year since its founding. They aim to celebrate the creativity and artistic talent to be found amongst their colleagues and their families and is run by volunteers, they are non-profitmaking and donate a percentage of sales to Street Souls, parent charity the Coombe Trust, now part of Emmaus charity No. 1064472. The Coombe Trust was founded by Lloyd’s broker Don Coombe MBE with whom they have been proudly associated from the beginning.
