SNAPE, Annie Ellen
Annie Ellen Snape was born at 3 Old Kent Road, Cork Place, Camberwell, London on 20 June 1858 and baptised at Southwark St Mary on 1 September 1858, fourth daughter of Revd Alfred William Snape (29 October 1825-8 May 1896), who was born at Brent Eleigh, Suffolk, perpetual curate at Mary Magdalene Southwark and later vicar of St Mary's, Bury St Edmund's, and his wife Jane Ready née Jones (12 October 1829-12 June 1901), who married at St Luke's, Chelsea, London on 21 October 1851. In 1881, Annie was a 22-year-old, living at St Mary's Vicarage, 7 St Mary's Square, Bury St Edmund's with her parents, 55-year-old William and 51-year-old Jane Ready, and seven siblings, Florence Caroline Fanny 25, Constance Elizabeth Ellen 19, Ernest Alfred 17, Isabel Septima 14, Horace William 13, Harold John 8, all born at Camberwell and Edmund Richard 6, born at Bury St Edmund's, they had another daughter Gertrude Cullen (1857-1862). Listed as an exhibitor at Ipswich Fine Art Club from The Vicarage, Bury St Edmund’s in 1885 but had nothing listed. She married at St Mary's Church, Bury St Edmund's on 22 August 1895, Evan Jenkin Lloyd (1867-18 December 1909), headmaster of Bottwnog County School in South Wales. Annie Ellen Lloyd died at The Grange Nursing Home, Surrey on 30 March 1936, aged 77
