As Shirley Anne Cummings, only daughter of Ernest Alfred Cummings (16 April 1899-January 1990) and his wife Doris Lilian Sumner (3 September 1914-27 November 2006), who married at Hendon in 1936. Shirley was educated at Ealing Grammar School and was of 5 Whitton Close, Ealing, Middlesex when she married at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Ruislip on 16 October 1965, Paul Michael Brigginshaw (1942-) only son of Ronald Rogers Brigginshaw. Shirley Brigginshaw exhibited her works from Woodbridge, Suffolk at the Frame Workshop & Gallery in Ipswich.
