TAYLOR, Helen
Helen Taylor spent her early years in the Middle East and at the age of 16 relocated to the United Kingdom. Helen studied at Hampstead Fine Arts College, London and moved to Suffolk and has lived in East Anglia for over thirty years. Helen works en plein air and from both sketches and memory. Her paintings are rendered in a loose, textured style as she seeks to reinvigorate traditions of figurative painting and provide the viewer with a shared personal encounter. Helen exhibits with Artspace Woodbridge and in 2001, Helen presented her paintings to the late HRH the Queen Elizabeth II and her work is held in private collections internationally.
