SCOTT, Florence Emily Cunningham

Florence Emily Cunningham Scott, was born at Bareilly, Bengal, India on 22 June and baptised on 24 July 1860, daughter of Lieut. Col Francis [Frank] Cunningham Scott, later Maj.Gen. Sir Cunningham Scott (1834-1902), and his wife Mary Olivia née Ward, who married at Calcutta, India on 17 March 1859 and in 1881 were living at Bramford Hall, Ipswich. A member of the Ipswich Fine Art Club 1883-1888 and she exhibited from Bramford Hall in 1881 ‘Autumn in Bramford’, in 1883 four watercolours 'Pug's Head', 'Pussy', 'Morning' and 'Evening', in 1884 two watercolours 'A Winter Sunset' and 'Sketch in Dumfrieshire'. She married at St George's Hanover Square, London in 1895, Alexander Ward, a barrister-at-law (1853-23 April 1907). In 1907 Florence was living at Lockers Hall, Billericay, Essex where she died on 7 March 1943 she had no isssue.
