SCOTT, Florence Emily Cunningham
Florence Emily Cunningham Scott was born at Bareilly, Bengal, India on 22 June 1860 and baptised on 24 July 1860, daughter of Lieut. Col Francis [Frank] Cunningham Scott, later Maj.Gen. Sir Cunningham Scott (31 August 1834-26 June 1902), and his wife Mary Olivia Ward (12 October 1832-26 September 1911), daughter of Revd Edward John Ward, who married at Calcutta, India on 17 March 1859 and in 1881 were living at Bramford Hall, Ipswich. Florence was a member of the Ipswich Fine Art Club 1883-1888 and she exhibited from Bramford Hall in 1881, ‘Autumn in Bramford’, in 1883 four watercolours 'Pug's Head', 'Pussy', 'Morning' and 'Evening', in 1884 two watercolours 'A Winter Sunset' and 'Sketch in Dumfrieshire'. Florence married at St George's Church, Hanover Square, London on 24 October 1895, Alexander Ward (2 August 1852-23 April 1907), a barrister-at-law. In 1907 Florence Emily Cunningham Ward was living at Lockers Hall, Billericay, Essex where she died on 7 March 1943, they had no isssue.
