Brenda Bishop was born in Trinidad in the West Indies and was educated at Dartington College of Arts in Devon, and later whilst studying singing, also attended art classes. She married and after bringing up a family joined a class to learn watercolour techniques. Landscape and house portraiture are her favourite subjects. A member of the Suffolk Art Society.
